I have always been very crafty, and even had at one point my own pottery studio where I used to make all kinds of clay beads myself. So, there was no surprise that I would be interested in The Threaded Gem Adventure by Malana Ashlie. The surprise for me was all I got from it.

threadedgemIt all began with the author’s birthday project. Because she lives out of the US, she came up with the idea of requesting a bead from each one of her loved ones around the world, and to make a necklace which she would wear on her birthday. It seemed a simple, fun, and convenient idea to celebrate her 65th birthday by receiving a bead from her loved ones with their own energy and message for her. But it wasn’t until the project began that she realized the depth her idea would touch in her heart and her life.

The Threaded Gem Adventure is truly an adventure for the soul that not only helps loved ones to reconnect but for which the ripple effect will promote the principle of oneness as people’s hearts connect through beading, creating one jewel filled with love, personality and experience of many pieces of the same heart.

I loved it, not only because of the beautiful message behind one of my favorite hobbies, but because the simple warm voice of Malana Ashlie as she shared her own experience recruited my heart, as I found myself eager to adopt her project in my life and become part of the ripple of her beautiful message.

The Threaded Gem Adventure is definitely an adventure all hearts should embark on. Highly recommend it!
